FLOWERS WITH FRIENDS: Pick your own bouquet!

If you are looking for a fun, relaxing, and unique way to spend time with friends and family or just want some quiet alone time in nature, we would love to welcome you to the private cutting gardens at Ruthie Mae Blooms south of Warrensburg, Missouri! Slow time down a bit while you walk through our beautiful blooms and choose the perfect ones for your arrangement. Each ticket purchase will admit 1 person in the cutting gardens. We provide you with a paper cup that will fit in your cars cup holder, water to fill and transport your bouquet home in and a packet of flower food to ensure the longest life to your arrangement. We also loan you snips for cutting. Upon arrival you will receive a quick tutorial on how to cut the blooms, then left alone to walk and cut at your own pace. We do have shade and seating available.

Because we are a small boutique farm, we limit the number of people in the gardens at one time so that every customer can relax and have the best experience possible. If there are not enough available tickets for your party or want to book a private cutting session or date night, please reach out to me at Ruthie Mae Blooms Admin.

Want a private session? We love to host friend groups, family groups and couples! You can schedule a group session if you are booking a minimum of 8 tickets. (Max 15) I will open the gardens for your very own private morning or evening session in the cutting garden.

Due to insurance, children ages 9 and under are not allowed to cut flowers. All children must be with an adult at all times.

A few housekeeping items I do want to make note of:

We are a working cut flower farm in the country. The ground is uneven and you will have various narrow path surfaces to walk on. Please wear appropriate footwear for the situation (Closed toe is recommended)!

Things you might consider bringing: A water bottle, your sunhat, ballcap, sunscreen, bug spray.

You are always welcome to bring a meal or snacks and enjoy them in the garden at one of our 3 tables.

We are proud to be a pollinator friendly farm. Butterflies, bees and many other friends can be seen hard at work gathering pollen every day. If you have any allergies, please take the appropriate precautions. They have never bothered us. They are happy just to be busy going about their business collecting pollen. They are really fun to watch. We often enjoy being visited by dragonflies and hummingbirds as well! You just might be lucky enough to see the finches feasting in the zinnias or the sweetest tiny frogs sleeping tucked in the dahlia petals!

While we do have our own pets, they will be kept away from customers. We ask the same of your pets. Please leave them safe at home.  Pets ARE NOT allowed at any time on Ruthie Mae Blooms property. *If you have a trained service dog, please reach out to me prior to scheduling your time slot. We are happy to accommodate.

We highly encourage taking your own personal photographs while you cut your bouquet! We always appreciate when you tag Ruthie Mae Blooms when you share them on your social media! 🙂
